Meet Our Teachers
Paula was a founder of PASG and has been head of dance since then. Paula has had a versatile career in Theatre, Cabaret, Television, and Film. Paula completed her training as a dance teacher with the International Dance Teachers Association.
Paula is a trained aerobic teacher and also holds the PEAI cert in Exercise and Health and the National Cert in Exercise and Fitness. Paula has choreographed every PASG production to date as well as teacher training and guest teaching for other dance schools throughout Ireland.
Michael played ‘Sammy’ in Blood Brothers in the West End for 10 years, as well as a year on the UK National tour. On screen Michael has appeared in numerous short films, and also has feature film credits. Michael has delivered workshops across the UK and Europe and is regularly asked to design week long Theatre course to be delivered in schools, performing Arts schools, and universities. In London Michael delivers workshops for London Theatre Tours and Pineapple Performing Arts School.
Karen has been with PASG for fourteen years, during which time she has taken IDTA exams in Musical Theatre, Theatre Craft and Modern Jazz, as well as appearing in all their shows and pantos Karen has held lead roles in ‘Grease’, ‘Oklahoma’, ‘Annie’ ‘Snow White and the Seven Delinquents’ and ‘Fame’.
Karen is a qualified primary school teacher.
Adrianna has a long ballet background (17 years practicing in different schools) and achieved the second level in the Professional School of Dance of Castilla y Leon (Burgos, Spain). She has also been trained in contemporary dance and flamenco, among other styles. She has a Degree in Audiovisual Communication and a Research Masters in Cognitive Science applied to Dance. She is also a certified gymnastics coach and a zumba-fitness instructor.
Jessi has just graduated from Central School of Ballet with a BA Hons and has returned to Galway to train as a teacher with PASG.
Lisa has competed all the RIAM grade exams in voice and is currently taking final exams in Music and Nua-Ghaeilge in NUI Maynooth. Lisa is also an accomplished wedding singer.
Jaimie is an actor, writer and director best known for his performances in physical comedy theatre.
Screen credits include THE LINE, CROSS OF FIRE (Leonard Film Productions), HAMILTON’S GONE directed by Johnny Gogan with Bandit Films and THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO starring Guy Pearse and Richard Harris for Buena Vista.
On Stage, he performed in the buffoon-comedy THE BLANCH (nominated Best Male Performer Dublin Fringe Festival 2009); and completed a two-month London run of THE HONK PROJECT with acclaimed director John Wright. More recently, he was seen playing Jack in Red Kettle’s production of BEYOND THE BROOKLYN SKY by Michael Hilliard Mulcahy – “Delightfully funny and poignant…wonderfully in an enchanting production”Examiner.com****
Jaimie first worked with PASG when he gave physical theatre workshops to the students and subsequently directed two of our pantos ‘The Frog Prince’ and ‘Cinderella’.
Jaimie returned to PASG to direct ‘The Addams Family’.
